The Lord of the Rings Symphony

Robert W. Boardman has become a sought-after conductor and collaborator for The Lord of the Rings concert productions, bringing the epic world of Middle-earth to life through symphonic performance. He has served as Assistant Conductor with the Philadelphia Orchestra for The Return of the King – Live to Projection under the baton of Ludwig Wicki, and led his own acclaimed performance of The Lord of the Rings Symphony with full orchestra, chorus, and soprano soloist Kaitlyn Lusk at Notre Dame. As he plans a 2025–2027 tour of The Lord of the Rings Symphony, Boardman continues to champion the cinematic majesty and emotional depth of Howard Shore’s iconic score for audiences across the country.
